CORONAVIRUS UPDATE TO TICKET POLICY:
Due to the Coronavirus we are, sadly, cancelling all food tours up until June 2th, 2020.
At this point in time there are two options for ticket-holders to choose from:
THE BEST OPTION
We will quickly convert your tickets into a Gift Certificate that never expires. It will be good for 100 years!
You can use it easily to re-book a food tour with us when things go back to normal.
Choosing the E-gift certificate option will help keep our business afloat during this time.
THE 2ND OPTION
We can reschedule your tickets on a future tour.
We hope that you are safe and healthy.
And thank you so much for supporting our small business, it means everything!

GENERAL TICKET POLICIES:
*First and foremost, we’re human too! We understand that mistakes, illnesses and emergencies happen and those things can all get in the way of attending and arriving on time for a food tour. And our response is always… human, and fair. So please always contact us; firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss situations as early as you become aware of them.
*At the same time, we do encourage you to be thoughtful about requesting a last minute change and to save that privilege Only for Unique Situations (listed below) since your spots on the tour are being held for you (it’s always very difficult for us to resell your tickets with limited time). Additionally, as part of our company philosophy, we always aim to keep a good balance between pleasing you (our customer) and being fair to our hard working tour guides who also have babies and doggies to feed and whose salary also depends on advance ticket purchases. We’re sure you understand the balance we try to maintain in keeping everyone super satisfied. Please see details below.
Under normal circumstances your Food Tour tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE.
If you have a medical, family emergency, or your travel plans changed due to serious unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible by call the number written on your e-ticket, or mail to email@example.com . We can make exceptions and convert your tickets into a gift certificate or give you a refund (only for cancelations made 14 days prior the tour date) if you will not be returning to Turin in the near future.
Your Food Tour Tickets CAN BE RESCHEDULED within reason.
Please contact us minimum 72+ hours before your scheduled tour if you need to reschedule your tickets.
If you have a medical, family emergency, or your travel plans changed due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the number written on your e-ticket. *Please be thoughtful about rescheduling at the last minute, your spots on the tour are being held for you. It is very difficult for us to resell your tickets with limited time.
*Inclement Weather Policy:
All of our Food Tours TAKE PLACE RAIN OR SHINE.
In the rare situation where we are forced to cancel the event due to inclement/unsafe weather “based on recommendations from the Mayor of Turin”, ticket-holders can reschedule to another day (subject to availability), receive a gift certificate (that never expires) or can receive a full refund. Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance. Thursday – Saturday are the busiest days of the week! Often our tours sell out quickly, especially during this days. You don’t want to get caught at the last minute so check out our tour calendar and availability Here.
Unfortunately the guide can not wait, as we don’t want to, and can’t let wait other guests!
In case of delay, please inform us by calling the number that is written on your booking and ticket, so we can guide you to the next stop (tasting) and you can join from there the rest of the group/tour again.
Unfortunately you will miss than the first part of the Tour, and tasting(s), so ‘Please’ Be on Time! and go out from your staying a little bit sooner. (As the City Centre can be pretty crowdy!)
Our food tasting and cultural walking tours have been developed especially for food and history lovers. We find that some children have a blast on our tours and if you think yours will, please bring them along – most of our tours are great for young history and food lovers, too, as well as future chefs.
But, in our vast touring experience, we have found that many of those under the age of 17 might have a harder time enjoying themselves on a tour. They may be indifferent, fidgety, or not appreciate an extended group activity and unfortunately, their displeasure could interfere with the exciting experience that I Eat Food Tours has carefully crafted for you and the other guests.
Whether to bring your child is entirely up to you, but please note that ALL CHILDREN ages 3 and above need a paid ticket. We assume that if your child is below the age of 3 they will not be participating in the tasting portion of the tour, or they might be sharing tastings with a parent. Therefore, for children below age 3, no ticket is required and there will no be separate tastings prepared for them. If you would like tastings for your child under 3, please be sure to purchase a ticket in advance.
Whatever you decide, be sure to indicate when you make your reservation whether you are bringing a child on the tour, so that your tour guide can be prepared. Please also note that strollers can be a challenge on the tour due to the many narrow sidewalks that we walk on, the oneven cobble stone streets that we cross, certain staircases that we use when entering establishments, and the very small shops and open market streets that we visit. If you have further questions pertaining to tickets for children, please mailto: firstname.lastname@example.org
For child pricing – see FAQ labeled: ARE THERE CHILD TICKETS?
I Eat Food Tours does not include gratuities in the cost of our tours. A standard gratuity for a tour guide in Turin (Italy) is 15% of the tour price. If you had a great time gratuities are accepted by our tour guides.

Bjorn Inge & Aud, Bergen, Norway.
At the moment we met Cecilia & Abram by the fontenes in Piazza Castello, we knew this would be an interesting and joyfull day. During the next hours we were served a selection of different tastes while Cecila passionately told us cultural and historical anecdotes about Torino.
